The Girls Night Out event held September 19th was a great Success for all.  It was an evening of Fun, Food, Fellowship and BINGO for designer purses.  This was the second Girls Night Out event hosted by the Paris United club to raise funds for the various community projects and programs our club sponsors and supports.  There were approximately 600 ladies who participated in the event and there were 25 contributing Sponsors who made this a successful event.  The event was reported on the front page of the Paris News on Friday, September 20.

The funds raised will support many of the programs hosted and sponsored by Paris United club, including:
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Award - weekend leadership camp for local high school students
  • Dental program - provide dental check-up with support from local dentists for all 2nd graders in public schools in Lamar County
  • Dictionary program - provide dictionary/refernce books to all 3rd graders in Lamar County public schools
  • Scholarships to PJC - provide scholarships to area HS seniors with scholarship to attend Paris Junior College
  • Annual Fireworks display - Gold sponsor for the Paris fireworks on 4th of July celebration
  • Contribution to eradicate Polio worldwide
  • And support for many more local organizations and their programs
